Nujakasha. One Name // One Sound.
The three-piece band Nujakasha creates atmospheric soundscapes and drivin grooves – entirely instrumental. Drums, bass, piano, synthesizers and violin merge into a sound rooted in hip-hop, jazz and soul. Layered rhythms meet danceable beats, rapid runs dissolve into lyrical melodies. The result is a sonic landscape full of depth, dynamics and atmosphere – at times hypnotic, at times propulsive, always distinctive.
With their debut full-length album, the band ventures into new territory. Instrumental jazz and hip-hop are reimagined – experimental, emotional and playful in spirit. Expansive arrangements meet delicate details; organic energy blends with electronic openness. Stepping deliberately beyond familiar structures, Nujakasha craft a sound that balances raw intensity with sensitivity.
The band has collaborated with international artists including Mick Jenkins, Takuya Kuroda, NEONE the Wonderer and Hunter Rose, alongside national collaborations with Aka Kelzz, Ferge X Fisherman, Ki’Luanda, GALV, Maniac and Cellz.
Nujakasha prove that instrumental music can be far more than background — it is expression, movement and communication. A sound that builds bridges: between jazz club and late-night dancefloor, between complexity and lightness, between mind and body.
